BEWARE OF ICE!


With this snow storm just starting there's not enough snow for my YakTrax! So off I went with out them and needless to say, it's flippin slippery when you find the ice! I was no more than a block into the run when I discovered this phenomenon; almost falling on my keister, as I slid a full 3'.

From that point on I watched the ground below like a hawk attacking a venomous rattler!


Besides slipping and sliding all throughout this run. I had to contend with the Culver's DBL Bacon Deluxe Burger with Fries and M&M with Oreo Concrete Mixer, I woofed down just before the run...oh, what a meal!!!

Found Myself Running in E-Town Tonight


I guess the 4 mile run this morning wasn't enough? Tonight I started out running with "Frank The Tank" in Edgerton; then after about 3 miles we split up. I ended up running into the historical district and somehow got lost for a few blocks? No big deal it was an awesome 30° and calm as a couple lions against a gazelle!


I did find my self bored at about mile 5 and updated my Twitter and Facebook statuses. It took at least 1/2 a mile to type out a 140-character message while running!

That's what I get for not bringing my Shure SE Model headphones!

Finally a Morning Run


After an hour of work I snapped and went for a quick run! After not running for a few days it was about time. Started out with a nice hill right away within the first mile. From there I headed to the best hill for running around here and if it were twice as long it'd be perfect! It's marked on the map!

What a relaxing run, at a relaxing pace! I forgot how good running in the morning felt, but I have to get back to work! I Just might have to start hoofin' it at 0530 again!
